Top 8 moving on from Dickinson, ND WLAC Quarterfinal
   The competition at the Stockmen’s Livestock Exchange in Dickinson, ND on Thursday included a solid mix of rookie contenders and seasoned WLAC veterans.  The top 8 moving on to the WLAC Semi-finals in Turlock, California next June will be Champion Mitch Barthel from New York Mills, Minnesota; Reserve Champion Tye Casey from Plymouth, Indiana; Runner-up Champion Andrew McDowell from Vandalia, Illinois.  
   In alphabetical order the remaining qualifiers were Philip Gilstrap from Pendleton, South Carolina; Brennin Jack from Regina, Saskatchewan; Travis Rogers from Westlock, Alberta; Duane Rus from Rock Valley, Iowa and Shane Wolff from Golden Valley, North Dakota.
